Do you want to start your own business where you can work from the comfort of your own home? How about a portable career in child care with the opportunity for advancement?
Our Family Child Care Homes Program is an opportunity for home providers living in JBPHH housing to provide high-quality child care for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years with minimal changes to your home. In fact, you will have full freedom to choose your hours and the children you care for. Work full-time, part-time, or offer drop-in, evening, overnight or weekend care! The choice is completely yours.
Navy CYP offers FREE training, as well as information on activities, health & safety techniques, CPR & First Aid, business practices and tax tips. Take the first step today and submit an FCC PROVIDER INTEREST FORM.
WHY BECOME AN FCC PROVIDER?
- Become a business owner and work your own hours, from your own home. (*Must live in government housing. This program is open to all military branches.)
- Get priority housing by becoming an FCC Provider.
- Submit an Interest Form today and start offering child care within 90 days. Plus new government subsidies to support your business, including lending library items and meals for kids!
- Receive FREE training that can be used to advance your career, with a seamless transition into multiple positions with Navy CYP.
Respond to our Community's Child Care Needs for:
- Infant and toddler care
- Care for children with special needs
- Care for children of parents who work evening or weekend shifts
- Full-time, part-time drop-in or hourly care for children 0-12 years old. It's the perfect profession for a parent who enjoys being around kids and wants to be there as they grow. Become a certified child care provider by attending a five-day training course, followed by monthly training sessions. You'll also need to complete the DoD modules on appropriate child development practices designed for child and youth professionals across all roles and functions to facilitate high quality care and education.
