MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent serves as the Contracting Officer Technical Representative for all Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard MWR contracts. Provides clerical and technical support to contracting personnel by preparing, controlling and reviewing procurement documents and reports. Verifies or abstracting information contained in documents and reports to ensure terms of contract are being followed. Ensure food service and vending machine contracts are monitored and accounts for non-compliance through the Contracting Officer and MWR Chairperson. Monitors sales of vending machine, determines which are not profitable and discuss alternatives regarding potential for potential of greater sales. Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual accounting reports and accounting clerical services by utilizing paperwork filed through deposits, daily computer reports and other financial data.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires a minimum one year experience in responsible support work in purchasing or related clerical field. Knowledge of basic mathematics and able to apply basic accounting principles and be skilled in the use of all accounting machines such as adding machine, calculators, etc. and have a general knowledge of office practices and procedures as they relate to financial data of records. Experience in the use of personal computers is required and be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
