One of the universal truths of the military is that our forces deploy, leaving their families to handle life's day-to-day activities until they return home. This two-hour brief helps both the service member and the spouse prepare for deployment. The class includes an overview of various deployment services offered by Warfighter & Family Services at Pearl Harbor (formerly the Fleet & Family Support Center) including information and referral, United Through Reading, family life education classes, Client Resource Center, new parent support services, relocation assistance, transition assistance, clinical counseling, personal financial management and family employment readiness.
